Today’s Collective submission mixes great quotations with simple, lighthearted illustration. Have you shared your favorite artist with us yet?

runawaytr4in:

these are some of the watercolour artworks by mei lee. i discovered her about less than a year ago via the quotation works she’s done for one of my favourite authors john green. i feel that her style is really unique and the extremely relatable quotes she picks out from authors/poets/musicians is further enhanced by her form of art. the pieces she has done may seem to be very simple work to some, but upon closer look, it is clear that the details of her art (ranging from the colour gradients to typefaces to brush strokes) have been very carefully thought over.

Some more of the hopeful messages we wrote on the little libraries

Two new designs now available in the Online Store: Script Movement & Tales.
for a community project we made Free Little Libraries. In which we painted and wrote hopeful messages, and pretty decorations on them.
Every once in awhile we all write positive, anonymous messages to each other :)

Postcards from Farr Away is a social benefit organizations looking to promote random acts of kindness. They gather postcards and have people write small notes on them. Afterward, they choose random addresses and send them off. The messages can range from a quote, advice, inspiration, compliments, or simply a shared experience. It is a way to offer surprise encouragement and let even strangers make someone’s day.
